I literally crave affection. It’s not about sex. I crave somebody to cuddle with me, and to lay their head on my lap. I crave kisses, holding hands and running my thumb across theirs. Just looking at someone and thinking “how did I get this lucky”.
If you are a man who thinks it’s funny to make misogynist jokes purely to make your female friends uncomfortable/angry, then you are a misogynist. It is not “just a joke.” You literally are finding humor in the discomfort and dehumanization of women. You are not helping, you are not making satire. You are just being misogynist.
People who have a superiority complex based on their enjoyment of vintage music or books are some of the most annoying people in the world and if I ever hear you ridiculing someone just because they may not enjoy listening to the beatles whilst reading to kill a mockingbird and sipping a cup of hibiscus green tea i will literally come to your house and staple your nipples to your elbows
“I would never in my life admit that I miss you.
Even if it means calling you in the middle of the night, all sad and with my voice cracking while you’re asking “what’s wrong” and I tell you “nothing, I don’t even know why I called, I’m just tired” although it tears me apart not to hear your voice for a night or not to have you lying next to me after not seeing each other for a while, leaving me only with my constant fear of you loving me a little less one day than you used to do. But I would rather cry myself to sleep at night, than to tell you that I miss you. Because if you missed me too, we wouldn’t be sleeping in different beds right now.”—(via missvodka)
“I’ve reached the point in my life where I don’t really care about impressing other people. It’s great if they like me just the way I am - but if they don’t that’s their loss, and it doesn’t really matter.”—OCC (via onlinecounsellingcollege)
